For long time, Indian Film and Broadcast industry had been working with old technologies. With the Indian economy opening up in the 90’s, access to the latest technology was easier and slowly the industry started turning high-tech.

During this period, three friends – Shailesh Parab, Vinayak Deo and Paresh Sorathia worked as Engineers building technology solutions for the film makers & Broadcasters. The trio sensed this change of paradigm and saw a great business opportunity beneath it. That is how Cineom was born on 24 January 2000!
